⁵ He who was seated on the throne^(A) said, “I am making everything new!”^(B) Then he said, “Write this down, for these words are trustworthy and true.”^(C)

⁶ He said to me: “It is done.^(D) I am the Alpha and the Omega,^(E) the Beginning and the End. To the thirsty I will give water without cost^(F) from the spring of the water of life.^{(G) 7} Those who are victorious^(H) will inherit all this, and I will be their God and they will be my children.^(I)

³⁴ “A new command^(A) I give you: Love one another.^(B) As I have loved you, so you must love one another.^{(C) 35} By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another.”^(D)

⁶ You see, at just the right time,^(A) when we were still powerless,^(B) Christ died for the ungodly.^(C)

⁸ But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.^(A)
